　　Today I feel very much honoured to introduce the knowledge about keeping brain sound for everyone in Beijing. Allow me, first of all, to thank the leaders of the Health Committee and the Senile Committee for offering me the opportunity of this presentation.
NLZB is one of No 5 prescription series among No 0~9 prescription on which I have been studying for many years. There are five products from Li's prescription, among which NLZB, Antiaging capsule, Antiradiation capsule are health products, other two are approved by the Minister of Public Health. They are named as NaoKan and NaoKanLing respectively. NaoKan is used for treatment of senile dementia and sequelae of cerebrovascular diseases and NaoKanLing is used for the treatment of fetus cerebra hypogensis and the sequelae caused by infection, toxication, and trauma. The results showed that NLZB may protect nerve cells from damage and inhibits nerve cells apoptosis (inhibitory rate, 93%). It may also promote the development of nervous system, normalize the injured nerve cells, and increase the number of cells in central nerve system. The cerebral disease, no matter what factors result in them, have some common characteristic which are ischemia and metabolism dysfunction. NLZB play an excellent role in the function by improving cerebral ischemia and metabolism. Next, I will introduce how NLZB came into being, what effects it produces for the patients, and what effects it produces for the health people. The experts here are my forefather and teachers. NLZB is not only therapeutic agent developed by us for cerebral diseases, but also a health product. It is Li's No 5 prescription series that are effective for cerebral diseases by improving nerve cell metabolism. Generally, the cerebral cells begin to develop from the embryonic period. Three-month baby can recognize the persons around him. Why doesn't a child recognize ones when he was born. A child begins to learn speaking when being one year old instead of three-month old. This is because cerebral cells are developing with age. The cerebral function depends on the number and development of nerve cells. The cerebral cells of human being are full-grown at one's 13~14 years old. In another word, the nervous system is full-grown at adolescent age. I previously mentioned the cell involved cerebral function. What are the cells involved cerebral function. When one cell is connected with another one, electrophysiological loop is formed and the cells have activity. The nerve cells are connected by pathway formed by bundles of axon. A loop transmits impulses and serves important function. The more the nerve impulses are, the more active the nervous system is. This is connected with the number of brain cells and the density of neural net. The density of neural net affects the function of brain nerve directly. Therefore, his abilities of recognition, understanding, judgment, thinking are nice. The large space of thinking is just as the large field of vision we get. When we stand at the roof of a house at day, we can see everything around us. If the space is small, he only can think directly just as someone see the world in night with torch, he only can see things in light. someone more than 60 or 70 years become more and more stubborn, respects nobody but himself, and he always doesn't agree with others, decries his children and the young, says that the length of bridges he passed is larger than that of roads they passed. But, in fact ,when they were young, they were very smart, ambitious and objective too. Actually, the number of the brain cells of the old man lost, and the room for thinking became smaller. So, he just looks this side, doesn't that side. In the past, we thought that our minds changed when we were in sixties or seventies. But what is its reason? In fact, it is the change of biology character and neuobiology. It is to say that the numbers of the cells loss too much, and the room for thinking becomes smaller. Everyone needs 15 or 22 billion cells between to attend the operation of brain activity. The number accounts for 1 to 1.5 per of the whole.
